
ACTING CHIEF MOSIS of the Okanisi in the Netherlands wants the government to activate a 1974 plan to move villages in the hinterland to higher ground. Mosis’ proposal is not a new one. When disaster struck in 2006 and several villages were flooded, similar calls were heard.
